Last year, we dreamed from the tops of mountains, on the trail and, let's be honest, on our couch. We thought about what we want to make this landscape photography business, and how we can serve you better.
There is something life-giving about a sunset or a glacier lake or the view of a mountain range from a high vantage point. We want more people to have that available to them, not just on the weekends, but every day, on the walls of their homes and businesses through our landscape photos.
But to do that, some things have to change.
We want to let you in on those changes first. Here are a few things that are coming in the next year:
As of May 1, we are increasing our prices. We want our prices to reflect the value of the work, the girt, the sweat and the experience that went into it. Previously, we attempted to keep our prices as low as we could without losing money. Well, basically that meant we couldn't cover our true costs. We've thought long and hard about what they should be, and are choosing a model that is more typical of our industry. We hope, as followers of Lancescapes Photography, you will understand that to make a bigger impact as a business and to ensure our longevity, we need to choose prices that reflect the true value of our art. These changes won't take effect until May 1, though, so if you have been thinking about ordering a metal, canvas or paper print, don't miss your chance to get one at the existing prices!
We will be releasing new photos on May 1. Lance has taken some unique and stunning photos that we haven't posted yet, and we can't wait to show you. Check our website on that date to check them out! Along with new landscape photos, we will be evaluating all of our stock to make sure we are providing the highest quality photos for print.
But wait, there's more! There are other dreams tumbling in our heads that we will tell you about later. In the meantime, follow us on Instagram and Facebook to keep track of our adventures.
In the midst of new changes, we want to let you know, we are grateful for you! You are part of what keeps us out late, in the cold to capture the beauty our earth has to offer. We won't forget that you are the ones that have helped us get this far.
Adventure on,
Lance and Alli
